A Decade of Refinement to Make Global Expansion Strategic and Sustainable
“This award is a recognition of our ten years of work in building a professional service system and scalable capabilities.”

said Jacob Tao, Co-CEO of Lotusia Group.

“We’ve always believed that global expansion isn’t just about registering a company. It’s about reconstructing a business across legal,HR, and identity dimensions. Lotusia exists to make those complex, fragmented tasks strategic, executable, and manageable.”

From its inception, Lotusia never positioned itself as a simple service intermediary. Instead, it set out to become a “mid-office think tank”, a long-term partner that understands both structure and execution, capable of deconstructing problems and co-building solutions.

As Jacob emphasized,

“We are not just doing things for clients. We are building the ability to help them weather cycles and grow with confidence.”

Lotusia’s growth has closely followed the pace of China’s outbound wave. As early as 2014, Lotusia served its first batch of Chinese clients expanding into Singapore. As Southeast Asia became a second stop for outbound businesses, particularly post-pandemic, many firms began to shift toward jurisdictions with transparent systems and supportive legal and tax frameworks.

Singapore, in turn, introduced favourable polices such as 13O/13U tax exemptions for family offices, the Global Investor Programme (GIP), and employment passes for skilled professionals and tech talent (e.g., Tech Pass,EP). Lotusia’s role is to translate these policy windows into actionable, compliant strategies for its clients.

“From single-country setups to multi-country operations, clients don’t just need permits and paperwork, they need a clear roadmap for the future,” added Jacob. To support this, Lotusia has built a complete service matrix covering compliance, capital planning, tax design and HR support.

The firm also actively engages with public policy platforms. It helps clients apply for government incentives, is listed as a Singapore HighPotential Enterprise, and regularly participates in industry forums, closed-door policy briefings, and cross-border advisory roundtables, serving as a bridge between clients, policy, and market resources.

Looking Ahead: Expanding to the Middle East and Beyond

As regulatory environments tighten and the demand for compliant structuring rises, Lotusia Group is preparing to scale further. The company is set to expand services covering multi-country tax strategy, IPO pathway planning, regional talent migration, and ESG-focused digital governance advisory. At the same time, Lotusia continues investing in technology platforms, internal talent, and cross-border partnerships to ensure its role asa trusted partner to Asia-led global businesses.

With this SME recognition, Lotusia Group is proud to carry forward its vision: enabling structured, compliant, and sustainable global growth, from Singapore to the world.
